FAQ
Why is the result still over the target?
Tiny targets on huge photos may need more downscaling. Set a max longest edge, or pick a slightly higher KB limit.
JPEG or WebP for forms?
JPEG is the safest for legacy portals. WebP is smaller when the site accepts it.
Does this use cloud compression?
No. Everything runs locally with the browser encoder.
PNG not shrinking enough?
PNG has no quality slider. Switch to JPEG/WebP, or allow a smaller max edge.
